Winter in Northern California is very 2-faced.  It can be beautiful sunshiny one day, and torrential rains the next.  But to me, it’s all beautiful, I know we need the rains, and the rains bring new growth – and this year, way ahead of time, the hills area already starting to turn green!

Here are pictures from December 24th, when the rain came down with amazing force, only to stop for a few minutes to gather more strength!

Dr. Tae Yun Kim told the story about the daisy flowers, and how they always manage to bring forth flowers no matter if its freezing cold or scorching hot, whether they get dried out or flooded – they always flower and seem to be smiling through it all –

 Tae Yun Kim adds, we should try to be like them, no matter what life deals us, it is up to us how we choose to deal with those circumstances.  When she was just a little girl, she was abandoned, abused, and ostracized, yet she only got stronger through it all and is now so very successful!

Sometimes we cannot change our environment and our circumstances.  But we can change how we react to them, we can control our attitude!

“Whatever you do in your life, it is your personal choice!” are Dr. Tae Yun Kim’s famous words!
