Although Dr. Tae Yun Kim’s garden abounds with roses (more than 1,500 bushes to be exact), star-gazer lilies, and other well known and highly cultivated garden plants, there are also other gems that are a delight for eye, nose, and spirit.
These little garden treasures remind me of one of my favorite chapters in Dr. Tae Yun Kim’s book, “Seven Steps to Inner Power,”
Why is the Silent Master (=Inner Power) silent? If all this power and dominion are available, why isn’t it automatically out there healing you and your problems, making you the strong, successful, achieving person you want to be? Where has the Silent Master been all these years?
The Silent Master has always been there. it is silent only when we are not aware of it, when we do not focus on it, when we do not identify it as our Real Self. it is siletn out of neglect – our neglect. It takes effort to listen to that which is silent. But when you make the decision to find your Siletn Master, its power begins to unfold to just the degree you strive to open yourself to receive it. So the question is not, where has the Silent Master been? The question is, where have you been? “
In other words, Dr. Tae Yun Kim is recommending we open our awareness to all the things inside us – and around us, and acknowledge the tremendous beauty everywhere.
What might look like a weed to some people (and indeed, it most likely is one) is also, at the same time, an art work created by the hands of God.
Ah, words cannot describe these, but I will do my best. Nature is more precious than all the money in the world, it is wonderful, thank you for posting these. Will you please read my blog? kimiraven.wordpress.com

A moment to smell (imagine at least) the flowers! For me it is a moment to recognize God’s beautiful creations and appreciate them. I used to think flowers were flimsy and weak – but you try standing tall outside all day in the direct sun when int 80+ degrees! I’m humbled by flowers!
