You really can’t generalize food, as Dr. Tae Yun Kim likes to point out. A hamburger is neither good nor horrible – it is what you put in it and on it, and what you put it on. It can be a perfectly respectable food choice, as can tacos, burritos, Chinese food and so forth.
Dr. Tae Yun Kim does not have any prejudices when it comes to food. Everything in moderation. Pizza? Well, why not? If you make the crust healthy, and put organic, healthy toppings on, there is nothing wrong with it!
Dr. Tae Yun Kim also doesn’t limit her creativity. Why not put avocadoes on pizza? Why not use hot sauce instead of Pesto? And so on.
Just a couple of things – do take the extra step of pre-baking the pizza dough, so that it stays nice and crispy instead of soggy. And add the cheese last, so as to not overbake it.
And there you have it! Food, as most everything else in life, is as healthy as you make it!
